What is a Universal Medium?
There are a number of products in this range, but if you're new to this medium, then my starting point in workshops would be just the liquid medium, which is a fabric hardener. It comes in a range of colours though Bronze, Black and Ivory are the most popular to begin with.
Below are some of the things you could create yourself. More are being added as they are created.
What can you use it for?
It's a fabric and textile hardener, a glue, air dry clay (when mixed), a spreadable 'crackle' finish (when mixed), and can be used on almost anything. It is so versatile and an absolute must in your 'craft stash' if you do a lot of mixed media art.
Below are just a few samples made with fabric, clay, stone art and mixed media. But the possibilities are endless.
