Hello!
Honestly, I never know where to start with these 'about me' pages, but here goes. I'm a wife, a mum of 5 adult children and Nanna to 2 teenage grandchildren.
Except for our youngest daughter, who is currently studying law as an apprentice in London, we all live in the lovely county of Warwickshire, and my home studio is nestled along a rural lane in Leamington Spa.
A bit about me
I'm a self-taught artist who, over the last few years, has taken a few courses to improve my knowledge and skills, and the mediums I use most are acrylic paint and a universal medium (fabric hardener).
I believe we all have a gift to create and make beautiful things, and I love teaching people how to create amazing projects using these mediums. My style of painting is Folk Art/Decorative Painting which anyone can learn and I really can show you how! The universal medium is a hugely versatile product and, when it’s used with various other products, it gives you limitless possibilities.
My passion is to share my knowledge and creative skills with you from my home studio, where you will be made most welcome and taken through your project step by step.
We are all so busy these days but I don't want anyone missing out because they can't make a particular date for a workshop. With that in mind, Friday evenings from 7pm-9pm are now dedicated to my new Craft & Connect sessions, where you can make any project that takes your fancy, including coming up with your own ideas or designs.
